About The Worship Portal

In 2015, Jon Mihail was a Worship Pastor leading at a small church plant in Central New Jersey and he wanted to better equip his worship team. He decided to start a YouTube channel called “Small Church Worship” where he would upload Worship Songs according to the arrangements and keys that the team would be leading on Sundays.

This lead to some commenters asking Jon to upload just the instrumentals so they could sing along to the tracks. After a while commenters were asking for instrumentals in multiple keys and this led to Jon’s realization that there is a need that he can fill on YouTube, providing high quality tracks in all 12 keys for smaller churches to use and people to cover on YouTube. This is when Jon changed the name of the channel to “The Worship Portal.”

The first instrumental Jon released in all 12 keys was “Do it Again” and people loved it so much that it pushed him to do more tracks and expand into tutorials, streaming, and other types of videos.

Today, the Worship Portal provides resources such as Multitracks, WAV files, tutorials, and community for thousands across the world.
